先日チラッとお知らせしましたが、BMW G01 LCI X3、G02 LCI X4シリーズモデル用アイコニックグローオーナメントグリルがリリースされました。BMWAGさんは現行及びこれから出るすべてのモデルにアイコニックグローオーナメントグリルを設定する様ですね。但し、今回リリースされたG01LCI,G02LCI用アイコニックグローオーナメントグリルは///M PERFORMANCEモデルのM40i、M40dには適合しません。そしてG01はモジュールの追加のみですが、G02はグリル自体をG01LCIのそれに交換する必要があります。グリルの形状が異なるためと思われます。

The BMW Iconic Glow front ornamental grille sets new standards: When the car is opened and before it is locked, it illuminates the kidney grilles and the area in front of the car, thus creating a hitherto unique optical feature.

– Offering for G02 LCI: BMW Iconic Glow front ornamental grille only with G01 LCI front ornamental grille due to differentfront ornamental grille design (see package).
– Massive differentiation from standard cars: The overall impression of the car changes due to the emphasis on the striking kidney grilles together with the main headlights.
– The kidney grilles lights are activeboth when opening the car and also in the time between switching off the ignition and locking the car.
– The lights are switched off automatically as soon as all the doors have been closed and the engine is started. The lights cannot be active whilst the car is moving.

Functionality
– The BMW Iconic Glow front ornamental grille is a separate component, which is bonded into the internal grille. The front ornamental grille and the bars are illuminated from above with white light.
– The lights are activated to assist getting out of the car. This area in front of the car is therefore illuminated whilst climbing in and out of the car.
– The lights cannot be active whilst the car is moving due to statutory regulations.
– USA: The lights can also be used whilst the car is moving using a separate electronic system and a wireless button.
